Two Teens Die in Bizarre North Side Wreck

Police have identified two teenagers who were killed in a bizarre road rage incident on the north side on Friday, 1200 WOAI news reports.

The incident began in the 5900 block of San Pedro near Basse Road, when Isidro Cuellar, 19, was sitting on top of the door of an Acura driven by Valerio Perez, 19, as the vehicle was driving erratically and Cuellar was yelling at a Crown Victoria that was traveling behind them.

At one point, Cuellar fell off the door and onto the road, and Perez made a U-turn to pick him up.  The Crown Victoria did not stop.

Perez then began to drive at a high rate of speed, and for 'reasons unknown' according to the police report, Perez lost control of the car, veered into the oncoming lane, and collided head on with a pickup truck.

Both teens died at the scene, and the pickup driver was not seriously injured.

Police are still looking for the Crown Victoria driver and say the crash is 'still under investigation.'
